Pot and Porn Purveyors Plot Potomac Patrons
While Marylanders enjoyed their first weekend of legalized recreational marijuana, their neighbors across the Potomac River were left frustrated by Virginia’s new restrictions on pornography websites. Pornhub and other leading adult content providers are blocking IP addresses within the Commonwealth.
Now a group of Maryland entrepreneurs is moving fast to help Virginians. Cannabis & Coitus will open four new retail locations next week on the state’s Virginia border. Stores are coming to Maryland-side retail centers within a mile of the Sandy Hook, Brunswick, Point of Rocks and American Legion bridges.
Cannabis & Coitus stores features a dispensary offering recreational marijuana, including flower, vapes, edibles, concentrates, and more. Porn customers can pay $25 for a private booth with high speed Wi-Fi where they can view or download content from Pornhub, GayTube, RedTube and other restricted sites. Smoking in the booths is prohibited.
Taking advantage of Maryland’s ownership of the Potomac River, Cannabis & Coitus is also taking their enterprise on the water. Stores mounted on riverboats will operate from Whites Ferry landing, National Harbor, and Fort Washington. Virginians will board via piers stationed every 1-3 miles from Leesburg to Occoquan. Once on board, they are in Maryland.
Cannabis & Coitus investors are hedging their bet that Virginia’s conservative legislature will continue bringing opportunity their way. Two of their riverboats are former coast guard medical support vessels with surgical suites. If Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin’s push for a 15-week limit on abortions comes to fruition, Cannabis & Coitus executives say they will fill that void too.
