The New Most Expensive Tiny Home for Sale in Montgomery County (October 2024)
For nearly two years, a remodeled golf cart shed at former Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder’s Potomac home was the highest priced tiny home for sale in Montgomery County. Earlier this month, its price was slashed by American Cancer Society, who Snyder donated it to in May.
A new tiny home now takes the crown: The former bus stop shelter in front of 9305 Inglewood Ct. in Potomac.
The 160 SF classic A-frame tiny home has been on the market for a little over a year and has double doors with transom windows, garden gable vents, antique hinges, and wood Z shutters on a 0.0042-acre lot. It is being offered by Philip Dunphy of Long & Foster.
The converted bus shelter was originally listed in 2023 for $1.5 million with the price decreasing a few times (with the listing removed and returning twice), before settling on the current $985,000 price tag in July.
The tiny home is referred to as “Former Ride-On Shelter #228” in the description and boasts 7 ft ceilings, concrete floors, an aluminum bench, and a map of the WMATA transit system.
