Jeremy’s (formerly Jeffrey's) Signage is Up in Burtonsville

Ohh ohh Jeremy’s? You read it correctly. The Burtonsville Jeffrey's on Old Columbia Pike is currently undergoing a re-branding and a name change.

Owner Jeffrey Marcus closed down the restaurant after 35 years and the new owner, Jeremy Johnson, has decided to part ways with Jeffrey's branding. Going forward the restaurant will be called Jeremy’s.

The restaurant will maintain a similar menu, but you may see some very minor changes. Signage was updated yesterday.

Jeremy’s Subs & Pizza opens next month in Burtonsville.

Jeremy, a former Federal employee with no restaurant experience and a buyout check burning a hole in his pocket, says the opportunity to own a turnkey operation with a 35-year reputation for wholesome deliciousness was too good to pass up.

Locals are sad to see Jeffrey's gone and say the deletion of its beloved Facebook page, filled with scrumptious pictures and inspiring messages from loyal customers, adds insult to injury. "There'll be a new one soon," Jeremy told The Montgonion.

The only Jeffrey’s ever opened in 2020, taking over the former Burtonsville Jerry's Subs and Pizza franchise location.
