The Montgonion Releases 2024-2025 Winter Weather Outlook
Using advanced AI technology coupled with the meteorological might of the DC area's most trusted weather forecasters, The Montgonion has produced a Montgomery County, Maryland winter snow total predicative map for the 2024-25 season with the highest accuracy ever achieved. Totals ranging from 0.08 to 35.99 inches will definitely fall across areas of the county this winter.
The Montgonion algorithm merges the snow total predictive analyses from the Fox 5 Weather Team, NBC Storm Team 4, WUSA Weather Team, and ABC 7 First Alert Weather Team. The AI modeling sequence is practically infallible, forecasting with 98.73 percent accuracy. NBC Chief Meteorologist Doug Kammerer called The Montgonion system, "the greatest advance in weather forecasting since sticking your head out the window."
The highest snow totals this winter, up to three feet, will fall in Wheaton, Damascus, Brookeville, and Poolsville. Areas seeing less than two inches include Laytonsville, Takoma Park, Glenmont, and Ashton.
Based on The Montgonion’s data, MCPS Superintendent Thomas Taylor announced schools will be closed this winter on December 18, January 10-14, January 22-23, January 31, February 12-13, and March 6. There will be delayed openings on December 19, January 24, and February 14, and an early closing on January 30.
